Most articles you come across on the internet and read are interesting, but they pass into memory and beyond rather quickly. There are a few however that stay with you forever, and in some cases, change your life.
I ran across one such article a few years ago.
The images capture the essence of the question “When does a son become his father?”, something I’ve thought a lot about over the years. I was struck by their beauty and honesty as well as the amazing job they do documenting the passage of time and evolution of a human relationship. They are among some of the most beautiful picture I have ever seen, and I think others will agree.
Time moves so quickly I find it difficult to comprehend and understand much of the time. So I decided to document the same process captured in the images and story above for myself. I hope I live long enough to grow old and see my son grow into a man, and in the process document when my son becomes his father.
